The PATC Hikes Committee, in partnership with the Center for Wilderness Safety, invites PATC members to a free, live video program designed to help hikers, hike leaders, and outdoor enthusiasts stay safer on the trail this season.

This Ticks, Insect Bites and Snake Bites on-line training will cover practical ways to reduce your exposure to ticks, dangerous insects, and snakes—and what to do if you are bitten. With ticks making headlines and experts predicting a banner year for exposure, this timely session will help separate fact from fiction and give you clear, field-ready guidance.

The 75-minute session will be held on July 1 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom Webinar and is open to PATC members only.

Registered participants will receive details on how to join the webinar a few days before the event.
